Friday 5th July

GANIL: Celebration of the 30th anniversary of the first  beam at GANIL with a picnic 
on the lawn close to the canteen. Picnic starts at 12 am. All TALENT participants 
are welcome to take part.

 

Weekend of 6-7th July
Medieval festival in the town of Bayeux - music, dance, and a parrot (video)

Thursday 11th July 20:00

Special dinner at the restaurant "Escargot Entêté" (stubborn snail)

Location - 24 Rue Pierre Girard, 14000 Caen

Saturday 13th July

Coach excursion to historic Saint-Malo and to the abbey at Mont-Saint-Michel

- Departure at 9:00 from the main gate of GANIL (be careful to arrive at least few

  minutes before departure, the bus will not wait for you)

- Return to Caen at 19:00 to Campus 1 (dorm building) and afterwards at the

  main gate of GANIL

 

Sunday 14th July
French National Day: in Caen, party at the Castle at 18:30 and fireworks at the 
hippodrome at 23:00

 

Monday 15th July

A tour of the GANIL accelerator facility will take place from 1.30 the afternoon.

The expected duration of the tour will be about 1.5 hours.
