Thank-you to all participants for a very informative and stimulating workshop
Here is a workshop photograph
Important workshop information and updates: Registration is now closed.
1. Delegates will now be contacted very soon by Cristina Costa, the ECT* secretary in charge, concerning the support able to be provided and accommodation needs. For delegates that are supported, this (70%) support provides meals and shared accommodation costs. Delegates who choose single accommodations are required to pay the difference (typically 20 Euro per night) themselves to the Hotel on checkout.
2. To allow the participants to meet informally prior to the start of the workshop, all delegates are invited to a “pizza-dinner” from 20.00 on Sunday evening (April 25th) at the Ristorante-Pizzeria ALLA MOSTRA, located in the Piazza Mostra, Trento. The restaurant is in the square in front of the castle, the "Castello del Buonconsiglio". The Workshop Dinner will take place in Trento on Thursday evening, time and place to be confirmed during the Workshop.
3. The preliminary Workshop schedule is now available, also via the tab in the sidebar, as are selected Abstracts that have been provided by speakers to date. Session chairpersons will be added in due course. Speakers are asked to act as discussion leaders for their specialist sessions. All sessions have been allocated one hour in the programme. Discussion leaders are requested to prepare a total of no more than 30-35 minutes of introductory/specialist material for presentation and, in the tradition of Trento workshops, to expect that the session will be interactive and punctuated with discussions and questions.
4. A notebook computer will be available for presentations in the usual formats, as well as overhead projectors and blackboards. It is expected that most delegates will be in a position to load their presentation material from a USB drive in advance of their session. Technical help is available at the ECT* if difficulties arise. It is hoped that delegates will be able to provide a copy of their presentations (edited as they feel appropriate, e.g. for unpublished material) as a record of the workshop material.
5. This website will be used as the primary route for the posting of any updated data or information prior to the start of the Workshop.
We look forward to seeing you all in Trento.
